Collaboration with universities

Hermes Traducciones is very active in the academic community as part of its firm commitment to the translation industry. We work with Spanish universities on the following activities:

  • Teaching as part of ordinary lectures for subjects related to correcting and revising translations, professional translation perspectives, localisation and applied technology in the Translation and Interpreting degree at Alfonso X El Sabio University in Madrid.
  • Providing ordinary and extraordinary courses as part of post-graduate degrees and specialisation courses (localisation, computer-assisted translation, project management, etc.) in various universities.
  • Support for translation-related research projects.
  • Career guidance for students.
  • Paid internships for Translation and Interpreting students from various universities.
  • Sponsors of conventions, conferences, panels and seminars related to translation.
